Honestly? A flawless experience from beginning to end; -Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. -The Japanese breakfast was outstanding. -The rooms with the included onsen, minibar, lounge with snacks and beverages on tap, and general amenities were first rate. - There is a 24 hour entrance/exit for guests without having to go through the main reception. - Walkable distance to almost everything and anything. - Just five rooms in the entire hotel, mostly away from main roads, so extremely quiet and private feeling. - All staff I spoke to had great English proficiency. Honestly, the perfect retreat for a small, easy-going city like Kanazawa and at less than 300 euros a night, you will be hard pushed to find an experience which matches it in any Japanese city.

A beautifully renovated ryokan that felt calm and refined from the moment we arrived. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help, which made our honeymoon feel extra special. The room was spotless, and the private onsen was an absolute highlight we did not want to leave.

The property is extremely well located to reach all the tourist areas, station and shopping on foot. The layout, quality and amenities of the room were outstanding, especially the onsen. This also applies to the lounge area where the snacks and drinks were available - included in the stay. The traditional breakfast was beautiful and a work of art. I would stay here again without question and would recommend to anyone.
