An excellent hotel, great value for money, easy walking distance to the train station. Walking distance or a bus ride to all the main attractions. The onsen was wonderful. We stayed in a family room and it was very spacious by Japanese standards.

Enjoyed the onsen , all staff I encountered were really lovely, the hotel had a nice feel about it, smaller and welcoming, the location was perfect. We had a lovely stay,would definitely return.

The staff service was excellent. They were patient and friendly and helped arrange luggage forwarding very quickly and efficiently. The rooms were a bit small but the hotel was very modern and clean. It was within walking distance to the station but do bare in mind you need roughly ~20 mins of walking to get to the samurai district / castle park. There are public transport options close by though :) which is handy and I wouldn’t say the location is a deal breaker. Lovely temple located right across the road. Overall a good experience and we appreciate that the staff held our bags after we had already checked out so we could go out exploring. Thank you :)

The hotel was really easy to find, very close to the train station. There are quite a few place around to go and eat, or have a coffee. The baths are also really nice and quite big, and my room was a good size.
