The host, Michio, was very friendly and picked us up from Kanazawa Station on the first day. He gave us some pointers and recommendations on the area, which was appreciated. The house itself is great, beautifully renovated with the authentic structure still in place. Last but not least the location could not be more convenient, as it's located about 15mins walk away from major tourist attractions such as Kenrokuen gardens and Higashi Chaya district. Recommended!

Location was very good, all sightseeing spots were within walking distance. The host was very helpful and provided a pick up service from the train station. The bathroom facilities were very good.

Great place to stay to experience a traditional house. Great communication from the owner. Please expect steep stairs to get the bedrooms because that is how the houses are built.

A lovely traditional house in a great city. With everything we needed. The host was extremely friendly and showed us some recommendations whilst picking us up from the train station and even let us check in early. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
