The Machiya was super cosy with underfloor heating and had a lovely bathing area and was very comfortable

A very modern combination of western and japanese styles on the inside. Great for people who want to give this style of place a go and aren't sure if they want to commit to sleeping or lounging on tatami. Fully equipped automatic bath with a bit of a learning curve that is absolutely worth figuring out. 10 minute walk to the nearest bus station.
