Marathitis Cottage House is a beautiful little home nestled on the east coast of Naxos, in the village of Kanaki. The view from the house is incredible, and the outdoor terrace is a perfect place that offers great well-being and shelter from the Meltemi wind. The people who manage it are kind, the check-in went smoothly, and the mid-week cleaning is a really nice touch. Inside, the bathroom is renovated, the shower is comfortable, although the sink is a bit small. The bedrooms and living room would benefit from some renewed furniture to make the house truly exceptional (only the kitchen is new). The only downside is the absence of a dishwasher. We were a family with two small children and there was everything we needed for them (baby cots, high chairs, playpen). Overall, Marathitis is an excellent choice for those who love a rural experience in the wildest and most remote part of Naxos. Beautiful beaches and wonderful places nearby!

I had a wonderful stay at Marathitis Cottage House. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, offering a perfect blend of tranquility and natural beauty. The hosts were incredibly kind and always available to assist with anything we needed. I truly enjoyed my time there and would love to return in the future!

The location is wonderful. The house is perfect to explore the area and has all you need. Communication with the host was perfect. The views from the house are incredible, having dinner outside in the terrace is a must. The house us well equipped, has AC, a kitchen with all you might need... and space for a group. It is the perfect place to stay isolated and enjoy the calm but it's close by car to wonderful places.
