Chinese Malaysian owner is very friendly and helpful, along with ladies from reception. There is free tea/coffee, many books to read (i borrowed Lonely Planet on The Philippines), good places to eat and drink are within 10mins walk. From the reception especially i can recommend snorkeling (about $25) which made the best day of my life (swam with reef sharks!) - thank you ladies! On this chalet compound you can really feel like on the countryside and you will definitely relax. Highly recommended place. Lukasz (Poland)

Value for money. Cheers had everything I needed: room with AC, mosquito net + spray, water dispenser, tea/coffee, left luggage facility, hanging lines. They even allow guests who are leaving later in the day to use the shared bathroom. Shared bathroom are kept clean. Overall: simple, clean, adequate accommodation. I would stay again if I need to be in Tekek in the future.
