The fine print

The location in the local fisherman village is peaceful, with plenty of food options nearby and the sea just a few steps away, we even saw lots of beautiful fish. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting with our luggage and offering free bottled water on arrival and departure. The room was simple but equipped: there was a water boiler, coffee, tea, creamer, cups, and even some snacks (but no fridge). The balcony had a lovely view, perfect for relaxing. If you need extra toilet paper or garbage bags, you can just ask at the reception. They can also help arrange tours or meal delivery, though there are many nearby restaurants.

Very friendly staff & good location close to village, but also on water side with snorkeling possible directly in front.

The location is on the beach, you walk out of your door and can snorkel or relax in the local cafe and watch the world go by. The room was basic but fine, we had a nice small balcony and a small clean toilet and shower. The room had a fan and an AC unit but we found it either too cold or too hot. The water in the beach is beautiful and clear, you can see a lot of fish during the day snorkelling. The restaurant in front of the chalet does amazing Roti Canai for cheap.

Close to Fisherman's village. Good snorkeling out the front although the coral was dead. Lots of fish. Close to cafe. Drop of at jeti out the front. Air conditioning. Views.
