A really nice hotel in Kampala. Very accessible and with good customer care. I had no unpleasant surprises. Clean nice large room with good maintenance. We parked our car and did not have any hitches.

We loved our stay at Mestil Hotel. Uganda can feel quite unorganized compared to our home country, the Netherlands, so having a place where we could truly relax from the moment we entered the gate was invaluable. We were always welcomed warmly by the guards and felt very safe throughout our stay. The hotel prices are fair by European standards, and in our opinion, absolutely worth it if you want comfort and peace of mind. We would especially like to thank a few people who made our stay unforgettable: Murmansk Akim, who served us at the pool. He was always open-minded, friendly, and happy to answer any questions. Jackson, the hotel manager. He takes excellent care of the guests, always approachable and quick to find solutions whenever there was a small issue. Joyce and Dolly from housekeeping. These two ladies were among the kindest people we met at Mestil. Not only did they keep our rooms spotless, but they also made us feel at home. It was reassuring to know that we could leave our valuables in the room and everything would be exactly where we left it. Thank you so much, ladies! The breakfast team — Perisca, Florence, Jesca, Ronald, Salama, and Stephen. They always made sure we had everything we needed and served us with such warmth and friendliness. Patrick at reception, who gave us a warm welcome every time we arrived at the hotel. And finally, the guards at building 2 (unfortunately we don’t know your names). Each time we entered, you made us feel both safe and genuinely welcome. Thank you, Mestil Hotel. The next time we visit Uganda, we will definitely stay here again!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The rooms are incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. What truly set this place apart, however, was the exceptional customer care. The staft went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly, making me feel genuinely welcomed. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning!
