Good starting point for skiing in Weinebene. No markets, bars around what was exactly what we were searching. You can get fresh milk, butter, jam etc. at the farm. Other food me brought with us. If you want to forget city living, be without cell phones (wifi is great btw.) and TV (they are two in the apartment with internet connection), this is a perfect spot. If your kids want to see how to live on a farm, how to feed animals, where food comes from etc., you will not regret it.

Family farm with 3 apartments in the Koralpe hills. The view from balcony is absolutely great. All family members are very friendly, communicative and willing. We loved cow milking every evening where we found out a lot of interesting information about this work and saw little calves. I really admire the family which is able to manage so much work with smile and in good mood. You may try out fresh milk or other local products. There are three ski resorts within 30 minutes: - Weinebene (great for families, magic carpet for kids) - Koralpe - Klippitztorl (best for advanced skiers, 2 chairlifts) We really enjoyed the stay here and would like to come again. Farmhouse in a wonderful location on a sunlit hillside. Breathtaking views from the barnyard, suite, as well as the typically mountain driveway. The accommodation is modern, clean and well maintained with the necessary equipment as described. Our hosts were very kind, obliging and we spent our visit constantly admiring their diligence. An ideal place for relaxation or family vacations with little children.
