Staying in a log cabin is an excellent experience. We are so lucky to have exclusive use of the hot spring. Staff are very polite and helpful.

The room was fully renovated and very clean and comfortable (the photos in web belong to before renovation), and they have very good hot springs for 24hours. We really enjoyed the nature around hotel and found foxes for 3times. The manager of hotel also was very kind.

We stayed during spring and there were easy and beautiful walks along the river and to the nearby lake. The host kindly showed us on the map the nearby walks. We saw deers, foxes and birds along the walk. Very peaceful and lovely! It appears that we could be the only guests during our stay and we were given private use of both the indoor and outdoor Onsen during our 2 night stay. Communication with the hosts was through Google translate but it was easy and the hosts were very accommodating and kind when we were late for check in. There is a small convenience store run by a sweet elderly couple right across the street- sells basic snacks, ice cream and souvenirs.
