Akis Hotel is in a fantastic location, less than 5 mins from Kamari beach and the promenade which is lined with restaurants and bars. There is also a bakery right beside the hotel which was handy for breakfast coffee and croissant. next door is a supermarket. The staff in the hotel are super friendly and gave lots of information about the surrounding area. Mr Akis is very friendly also. Our room was spacious and had a lovely view down to the sea.

Staff was amazing, especially Mr Akis and Antonis. The room was great, clean and comfortable. The pool area was very relaxing. Perfect location, you can find everything just a few steps from the hotel (supermarket, parking, the beach, restaurants etc). Could not have asked for more!

Our stay at Akis Hotel was fantastic – we couldn’t have chosen better. Kamari is a lovely place, lively yet peaceful, with plenty of shops and restaurants. It’s close to the airport, and the sea is incredibly clean. We also went to see Perissa, but Kamari is a much better place. Akis Hotel is perfectly situated, just a 2-minute walk from the best beach (the other beaches are full of rocks in the water, but this one is perfect for swimming). Right next door, there is a 24-hour supermarket, the best bakery (Erotokritos Cretan Bakery), and many shops and restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised to be allowed an early check-in at 9 AM free of charge, and we received three rooms next to each other. All the staff were very friendly, and the owner, Mr. Akis, greeted us personally every day. The rooms were clean and practically equipped, with the balcony. The shower had good water pressure, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the wifi was strong. Housekeeping cleaned the rooms daily, towels were changed every other day. The pool is small but very nice and clean, without people. Overall, we were very satisfied and would highly recommend Akis Hotel to anyone visiting Santorini.
