Breathtaking views of the Dandenong's Ranges from every aspect of the house, relaxing in the jacuzzi while enjoying the views and enjoying the indoor fireplace surrounded by my family on my birthday long weekend away. The kitchen was also very roomy and well equiped. The kids and my partner baked banana bread and cooked a roast and it felt very homely while being away. The house was better than the pictures online. The host was very accommodating and fabulous to deal with.

Great house with a stunning view! We were welcomed by a nice note on a blackboard, complimentary wine and cheese, what made us feel special. Hot spa was what we needed too. The host was easily contactable and very responsive.

How to put into words what a gem of a place this accommodation was. If you have a younger family (especially late single digits or early double digit tweens) then this place is for you. Kids can have their own rooms and play area down stairs while the Parents have their space upstairs. With separate bathrooms on each level (although there might be a fight for the bedroom next to the outdoor hot tub 😉). The property is situated in the Yarra Valley area with plenty of fantastic wineries, breweries and distilleries within a 20 to 40 minute car ride (too many for me to try in my short Holiday). If you are a chocolate lover than you are in luck also with a couple of nearby chocolate factories (one just down the bottom of the hill). And yes you heard right. The accommodation is part way up the hill looking down the valley towards Silvan Reservoir. So makes sure you have a car with some ground clearance (not recommended for low ground clearance vehicles). The property has all the amenities you could wish for. And the Welcome I received from the Hosts was completely unexpected and kicked off my stay on a very high note (especially after driving out from Melbourne). I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I just hope it will be available for the next time i am in Melbourne and feel the need to escape the hustle and bustle of the City.
