Wrage “Great place, great family and amazing time”

Arriving to Caretta felt like coming home on a longer trip. The family owning this hotel made me feel like being a part of their family from the first moment on! They were just so warm and down to earth people and always happy to help out. One night we coincidentally met close to the harbour and they took me on a little sunset cruise with their boat. They helped me out so many times by taking me to the bus station and let me stay my last day until late after the checkout time on their jetty and use their sunbeds. My cozy room was just under the roof, had a great view over the sea and a gigantic private terrace. It was always clean and I couldn't have asked for anything else. The hotel itself isn't the newest building, but has a lot of charm and character. It's located a little outside the village, but in a perfect short walking distance to the village just next to the sea. I had some great snorkeling just at the house reef.

Perfect location with only 10 min walk into centre along a flat road. No hills to climb or come down. Away from all the bustle of town. Had its own beach club straight into the sea. So no bed and entry charges. Family run, staff are very friendly and helpful

Stayed in Carreta Hotel with my little sister for a week. It was our first time in Turkey and staying here made our trip! The hotel is in the best location as you’re only a short 15 min walk to the main town (No hills) have your own sea front and a swimming pool. We spent most of our time out in the sun loungers and in the water on the blue floating pontoon. Murat and his family made our stay they are very kind generous people always offering to help you out in any way they can and if your a dog person they have the cutest dogs who are so friendly and well trained! We had a big double room with a spacious balcony and porch looking out onto the sea front. We loved the included breakfast every morning it’s just what you need, bread egg cheese and fruit. If you’re looking for lunch the beach club called Yali beach club just next door has lovely food if you don’t want to walk into town. We will definitely be coming back to stay in this beautiful place 10000% recommend! Thank you Murat and your family for everything 🇮🇪☺️

Fabulous being right on the water. Outlook amazing. Room was clean and refreshed midweek, water hot and bed comfortable. Good Turkish breakfast. Safe for solo traveller. Walking distance to town. Great value for money.
