Amazing location. Sitting in a hot tub under the Milky Way was a truly wonderful experience. The host Kelly prepares her own jams to go with newly baked bread for breakfast. Rooms were great, warm, clean. Pity we could only stay one night.

Breakfast in the dining area was simple and delicious - made bread that was home cooked that day and eggs that were laid on site! Super delicious!

Despite the rainy and windy weather, our host Jen made sure we still enjoyed our two-night stay. The hot pools were perfect for relaxing in the evening, and Jen’s trail recommendations were much appreciated. The beds were comfortable, and while the two-bedroom suite is a bit small, it’s very clean and cozy. The shared kitchen is well equipped, and the living room is inviting, with books and games available. Breakfast is homemade, featuring warm bread and a great selection of jams.

Te Mahuru is beautiful retreat in the countryside. We loved the shared lounge where people can hangout, play games and have a chat.
