john “Comfortable stay but facilities and privacy could be improved”

Good location with nice views and generally quiet surroundings. The chalet itself is comfortable and the hot tub is a pleasant feature. When issues were raised — such as the gas bottle — they were addressed quickly. Parking is easy and access is straightforward, making it a convenient base for exploring the Kaikōura area.

In a beautiful spot on top of a hill. Huge chalet with a lovely view if there’s no mist. Great bathroom and peaceful spot for relaxing. And good laundry room to catch up if you are travelling or staying longer. A god spot for 2 groups of people as the two chalets are linked.

Beautiful, spacious modern building with stunning verandah (and hot tub).

The views here are stunning, access was easy, we were given a code to get into the main gate with instructions on which room was ours, the door was unlocked. A continental breakfast was provided which included bread for toasting and a variety of spreads, cereals, yoghurt, stewed fruit, tea & coffee including filter coffee. Fruit juice would have been nice but it was just a small thing it didn't matter.
