The bedrooms are fully carpeted and feature views of the mountains and sea. Two of the bedrooms have access to the terrace. There is also a day bed in the lounge area. The place is very warmly decorated, with books and games provided for children. There is a very large balcony with a direct sea view, and the host has thoughtfully provided a telescope so you can enjoy the scenery in the distance.

Property was a bit cold when we arrived due to a blast of unseasonable weather which also hindered our activities in Kaikoura, but once this was resolved the “boho chic” definitely grew on us.

The view was on of the best in the region. Six coupled adults easily fitted, there was plenty of comfy seating, a big deck and a big dining table.
