Nestled on the serene Itambira Island in Lake Bunyonyi, this eco-friendly lodge offers breathtaking views, a peaceful atmosphere, and an authentic connection with nature and the local community. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and passionate staff, who ensured I felt at home. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. It was really heavenly. Even while it rained, we could sit in our terrace and read. We saw otters and bunnies and little birds flew into our room in the morning and delighted us with a song. What a trully magical place ❤️ The staff was also super friendly and accommodating.

The location is on the island and it is easy to get there by a boat. The lodge is very nice and clean. the staff was nice. There is an option to tap a filtered water, so you don't need to waste so many plastic bottles.

We were very satisfied with everything. There was hot water, good food, friendly staff. Very nice views to Lake Bunyonyi.
