The fine print
Green Tax of USD 6 per person per night will be charged at the hotel. This tax is not included in the booking price.
Green Tax is a tax payable by tourists who stay in tourist resorts, integrated tourist resort, tourist hotels, resort hotels, hotels, tourist vessels and tourist guesthouses operated in the Maldives based on each day of stay.
Green Tax rates in the Maldives have undergone significant changes, effective 1 January 2025, In line with the 14th amendment to the Maldives Tourism Act, the updated rates have applied to all tourist establishments, including resorts, guesthouses, and vessels.
Under the new changes, Green Tax is doubled for most establishments. Resorts, integrated tourist resorts, resort hotels, tourist guesthouses with more than 50 rooms, and vessels now charge USD 12 per guest per night. Meanwhile, guesthouses operating with 50 or fewer rooms on inhabited islands charge USD 6 per guest per night. Children below 2 years old are exempted from green tax

Clean and spacious hotel, the room was big and spacious so is the bathroom. There is a restaurant on the rooftop, basic but tasty food. The staff is very nice, helpful and friendly.

We had the pleasure of staying at Sun View Residence on the island of Kaashidoo in the Maldives, and we are extremely satisfied with our entire stay! The owner was incredibly hospitable- not only did he ensure our comfort, but he also fook us on a tour around the island, showing us the key spots and explaining everything we needed to know. Thanks to this, we felt genuinely cared for and were able to fully experience the local atmosphere. We consider our entire stay to be very successful. This is a place we can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique accommodation in the Maldives.

- the room very big - water have good pressure & its hot - bed very comfortable - room very clean - position very good - Mohammed (the owner/manager) very kind and helpful - 10/10 for hospitality - restaurant food was ok too
