The best location to hike on Preikestolen, amazing view to the lake, very good restaurant and nice people! We spent 6 nights there, in the nature. From Preikestolen BaseCamp we went to visit Stavanger, hike Kjeragbolten and visit Haugesund (2h drive), Viking Farm,The National Monument, etc.

Location is unbeatable, the view from the restaurant is breathtaking 🤩 arrive from a long walk and get into the cozy lobby with the fireplace is priceless.

I liked that the check-in/check-out process is online, you can check in yourself. I liked the breakfast at the hotel. And the location, there is simply no place closer to Prekistullnu, and not only to it, there are several hiking trails, you can’t go around everything in one day, so it’s better to book a room for several days

The overall experience was very enjoyable and comfortable. I did have to pay for a coffee due to the early hour we began our hike. A bit annoying to only be offered free coffee at breakfast. However, I would gladly return, even if I had to pay for all coffee. The place is beautiful and perfectly located. Just visit and surly you will agree.

If you're looking to hike Preikelstolen then this is no doubt the best place to stay. Getting free access to the main car park means you can just wake up and hike. The building is great and has a lovely view over the water which is a nice way to start your day when having breakfast. The staff are kind and super helpful. The breakfast is also quite nice - as is the food if you were to have lunch or dinner.

Everything was very good apart from the size of the room which on the small side and the location of the third bed on a mezzanine floor wasn't ideal.

Small room, but lovely spacious communal living room with tea and coffee facilities. Clean room and shared showers. Possibilty for breakfast/lunch/dinner in the adjacent hotel.
