The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.The hotel is located in a pedestrian area, guests can park their cars in and around Shammay street. Only hotel guests are allowed in guest rooms. Late departure (until 19:00) on Saturday and at the end of Jewish religious holidays, subject to availability and at extra costs.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Cute and cosy, old fashioned and stylishly wornout hotel in a walking distance from the Old City. Free coffee and tea. Value for money, if you just need to stay for few nights and are anyway on the go throughout the day.

Location, you get what you see on booking, nothing fancy, well priced. Location is everything if you just want a place to crash while sightseeing Jerusalem.

It's centrally located, close to the Old city and close to the stores, caffees, restaurants. The staff was responsive before my arrival on emails.
