The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. Great location. Shai recommended the little market across the street. We found it to be very dirty though. Look elsewhere unless in a pinch.

The location is excellent, the host is extremely cordial and helpful, the apartment is fully equipped with everything one can wish for, from toiletries to sustainable disposables. Highly recommended! The bathroom is spacious with all the amenities, the seating space is comfortable and the beds are comfortable. The host was very helpful in explaining all the things one needs to know about the apartment. Everything is electronically controlled (and worked!)
