The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Excellent location, 5 min from Center of Town and 6 min from light train. Very clean and comfortable. There’s also a small kitchen with drinking water, free coffee and milk. I Needed a bed for one night so got the “budget room”, that had a view to the inner yard, owner called to notify me (I didn’t mind), so thanks for the heads up. Very nice accommodation

Spotlessly clean, quiet, good mattress and pillows, everything worked, nice location. Fridge in room was nice touch - also comfortable cushioned chairs. Free tea and coffee and sugar (and milk) and filtered water. Place to store things after checkout/before check-in. Good communications. Didn't charge VAT up front for tourists so was 17% cheaper than original quote. Not everyone dis-includes VAT so it's a big plus.

Very cheap, comfortable apartment. Situated in the heart of Jerusalem. No frills, no fuss. It would be hard to find somewhere as cheap and handy as B12 in the centre of this expensive city.
