Alexander “Clean and quiet hotel, but many basic comfort and usability issues”

Overall, the hotel is clean, quiet, and generally comfortable. The room was tidy, and the atmosphere was calm, which I really appreciated. The staff is polite, and in general the place feels pleasant. However, there are several important issues that seriously affect comfort. The soap dispenser near the sink is very inconvenient. There is almost no space for the hand, so it is difficult to press it properly. I believe the mounting should be changed. In the shower area, the shampoo and shower gel dispensers are not fixed at all. They rotate and move, making it almost impossible to use them. You need one hand to press and another to catch the soap, but since everything is loose and spinning, it becomes very frustrating. There is no proper lighting near the bathroom mirror. The area is quite dark, which makes it inconvenient and uncomfortable, especially for basic tasks like shaving or grooming. There are no bedside lamps on the night tables. The light switch is located higher on the wall, so to turn the light off before sleeping, you have to get out of bed every time. If you are reading in bed, this is especially uncomfortable and impractical. I also asked in the morning for the room to be cleaned and for towels to be replaced, but nothing was done. This was quite surprising and disappointing. The pillows are extremely uncomfortable. They seem to be in some kind of airtight cover, so when you lie on them, they remain thick, stiff, and unnatural. They do not adapt at all and are very uncomfortable. I had to remove them and was lucky that I brought my own pillows and blanket. The desk shown in the photos has a metal base, and your leg constantly hits this metal structure. If you are wearing shorts, it is very uncomfortable to sit there. The internet does not work properly at all, and mobile network coverage inside the hotel is also very poor. This is a serious problem. Even hotel staff members complain about this, which says a lot.

Everything about the Boudl was exceptional. The place was exceptionally clean. Every thing in our apartment, from the modern bathroom, the beds, curtains, and all the finishings were beautiful. I cannot fault this Boudl and I would recommend it highly to anyone looking a place yo stay while in Jeddah.

Location close to the shop and the not far from the city.
