Really enjoyed our stay here it was made very easy and Jardim do Mar is a beautiful quiet little town. The apartment is well placed and a very short walk from the carpark, waterfront and restaurants. The rooftop is the perfect place to chill out at the end of the day exploring the island. The sunsets are incredible, particularly if you come from a part of the world where the sun doesn’t set over an ocean horizon! Kitchen facilities are great and pretty well equipped for an easy meal in. For others not doing their homework it’s about 45mins to an hour drive from the city and Buses are VERY infrequent. Strongly encourage having a car. Read some reviews about the outside noise which I found amusing. My take is you’re staying in a house amongst locals (with probably a lot better amenities then many nearby) people are around you living their lives… and yes you will hear the ocean which is a benefit!

The pool on the roof was the main attraction for us, also the view from the living room was fantastic. It even inspired us to cook our seafood diner every evening during our stay thanks to fully equipped kitchen in the apartment. Overall, we left the place with the best experience.

We spent three nights at this paradise. The house is beautiful, you have everything you need and the terrace with little pool is just amazing. The view is breathtaking. This house was part of our honeymoon and we will be back for sure!!!
