Owners welcome as us with fresh homemade banana bread and juices from fruits in garden. It was very nice :)

Beautiful house in a very beautiful village! Great and kind hosts, always ready to help and generous with little treats. Terrace with beautiful views to sit, read and eat. It's practical there is cutlery and a fridge in the room.

We had a comfortable, spacious apartment with a balcony giving stunning views along the coast to Paul do Mar and of the sunset. The owners, Patricia and Luis, couldn’t have done more to make our stay special. Such a lovely, interesting couple. Both involved in the arts, they have a beautiful communal main house and garden to which we had access whenever we wanted. We were so interested to find out about Patricia’s art and stories of what life was like growing up in Madeira. All this set in a delightful village.

We absolutely loved our stay at "Bela Vigia"! The hosts, Luis and Patricia, are incredibly friendly and very creative. The house feels like an art gallery, filled with charm and inspiration. They treated us to homemade pie and fresh juice straight from their garden, which was such a delightful touch. Our kids had an amazing experience participating in an art workshop led by Patricia in her studio – a truly memorable activity! The view from the windows and the property itself are absolutely stunning. This place is not just a stay; it's an experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and heartwarming getaway!
