Rustic , typical Bavarian style, handy for walking in Bavarian nature reserve and sightseeing . The hosts Chris and Michaela were extremely friendly as was the whole family. Excellent Bavarian food. Looking forward to returning there.

The location is amazing, set in beautiful forests that you can wander around to your heart's content. This place is quite quirky, a real 70s or 80s traditional Bavarian mountain hostel. The restaurant area has a good cosy vibe, and the food is excellent and not too expensive. The host is absolutely lovely. Yes it is a bit dated and the rooms could be more comfy, but I still really liked the place. It was authentic and had good character.
