Shanti Home is a charming, family-run hotel located close to the Fort Gate. It’s very budget-friendly but still offers thoughtful touches, like a freshly prepared breakfast served on the rooftop. The owners are exceptionally welcoming. The brothers, Chimmy and Lala, shared local tips and even helped us arrange an authentic dessert tour, which we highly recommend. Also make sure to not miss the small art gallery in the basement, featuring works by local Rajasthan artists.

It was an amazing experience staying here. Rooms were nice and spacious and the view of the city was really something. Staff were amazing and happy to give you very great recommendations. The restaurant was amazing, the quality of the food was incredible, I strongly recommend it!

wonderful, wonderful from a global traveler professionally and personally across 100 countries and luxury to cultural experience accomodations. Chimmy, Lal, Prim and others are fantastic. one is only 5 minute walk from Fort, cooking is great and always available. Do yourself a favor visit Jaisalmer and Shanti.

Without a doubt Chimmy and his brother Lala really know what customer service is about. I wasn’t feeling great when we arrived and they couldn’t do enough to help me. Chimmy even bought me a hot water bottle to assist with my muscle spasms. Our room was large, bright and clean, perfect for a quiet few days. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated their care.
