Fully equipped kitchen, extensive DVD library, plenty of hot water, washing machine & dryer - plenty of room for a family of 5 to settle in Fantastic seating options outside (if only the weather had been warmer!) - baby calves, sheep and alpacas, and birdlife to enjoy. Quiet location, a short drive to areas of interest including waterfalls. Only 5 minutes to Malanda for supplies & fuel. Loved the environmentally /septic friendly products for use throughout the home.

A lovely stay! Rustic Retreat was so peaceful. The accommodation was very clean and had all amenities for a family. The neighbouring animals and resident calves were the highlight for our teen-aged girls. The host was friendly and accommodating.

It was very tranquil. Lovely place to just get away and relax. Nice clean house. All the facilities you could ask for. Bonus was the dryer.
