Conveniently located in the middle of the town but soon as you step in to the hotel grounds it doesn’t even feel like you are in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a city. Rooms were spotless clean. Linens and towels changed everyday. Tea stations and water filled and ready every morning. Hats off to the housekeeping staff for a highly professional service. Restaurant staff was truly helpful. We traveled as a big group of 15 family members. The staff offered us to set up a big breakfast table to accommodate the whole family. They went out of their way to move tables around and set up the tables so we all can enjoy the meal as a family.

It is a beautiful well kept heritage complex. Well designed and adapted to its new use. With a history to tell. As Sri Lanka’s in general, the staff is extremely welcoming, hospitality at its best. Always with a smile and a “yes” attitude. Food is also very good. Gardens beautiful and you can also learn part of Jaffna history in one of the bunkers. They have two. The other one is an art gallery.

Absolutely loved the experience. The rooms were impeccable—spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The staff were truly outstanding; every member of the team was attentive, welcoming, and eager to assist. The reception staff, in particular, were exceptional. They went above and beyond to help us organize a day tour at a very reasonable price, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was another highlight. We were treated to authentic Sri Lankan cuisine that was both flavorful and memorable. A special mention to Scoty, who ensured that every guest felt well taken care of and satisfied with their dining experience. Overall, a wonderful stay—highly recommended.

Beautifully furnished and decorated, especially the Heritage Wing. All of the rooms/wings (even outside the Heritage Wing) are named after prominent Sri Lankan artists and the rooms are adorned with their art.
