The Aachchi Lodge is real unique place in the northern part of the country. I would loved to have a longer stay, because just exploring the marvelous garden of the lodge and chatting with Nishaan is so much fun. The room was nice and especially the outside bathroom is a brilliant idea. If you like, you can also have food there, which will be prepared by a young chef who knows his craft.

What a wonderful place to spend a few days. A truly beautiful, spacious apartment with a comfortable bed and a wonderful outdoor shower. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome, and the staff were friendly and grew up in the area. The owner, who arrived a little later, was also very friendly and approachable, passionate about his business. He was also passionate about the design of the garden, showcasing the many plants, trees, and birds that inhabit this area. He immediately gave us a tour of the grounds, and we were captivated by his every word. The young, 20-year-old chef cooked superbly, so it was only natural to stay for dinner. Thank you so much for your excellent service, and perhaps we'll see you again.

The owner was very attentive, warm, accommodating, friendly and helpful. The morning and evening meals were great and the portions were generous! Water is available at all times. Everything is very clean and well maintained, both inside and outside. The living room gives you more space than usual. The bathroom/shower is beautiful, the open-air shower - wonderful! The garden with many different trees and birds is beautiful and worth enjoying! It has a small pool for swimming and a nice fire pit in the garden. I think it's great that all the employees are from the neighborhood. Everything was as described. The stay was great and you are close to nature. A highly recommended place, worth taking the short journey from Jaffna.

Beautiful peaceful location and home. We loved this accomodation wish we could have stayed longer! The garden and farm surrounding the house is so diverse with so many different species of trees and plants. The accommodation was super clean, clean fresh linen and towels, no dust or dirt. The house was built in the 60's apparently and it has been refurbished into something super unique. It has an outdoor style bathroom which was lovely. The extra room by the bedroom was nice to hangout, it had two lounges and a tea and coffee stand. Breakfast traditional Sri Lankan style. The owner is super passionate about horticulture, nature and hospitality. We stayed at his other accommodation because we like his style! Will be back
