karen “Quirky characterful house surrounded by forest and hills”

The house is quirky with lots of character. It is a mix of architectural styles with different motifs scattered around. There's a spacious 2nd level with a comfortable sofa and big windows for looking out at the hills + forest in the day, and for star-gazing at night. It is great as a retreat or if one wanted peace + quiet and the feeling of being somewhat off-grid.

The property is a little slice of magic! If you are looking for something remote and a little different, we couldn’t recommend Happy Nest enough! Kim had the fire on ready for us on our arrival and was a lovely host. Really really recommend!!

We liked the fact it was out of the way the views were amazing took your breath away. Kim the owner was great to deal with and very helpful on arrival.
