The breakfast and dinner inclusions were fantastic. Plenty of great/high quality food. The location was as stated; it’s a little far from a lot of the ‘things to do’ on the izu peninsula but that’s explicitly stated and shown. However, the view from the resort is beautiful, everything you need is in-house and there’s a 7eleven right next door.

Spacious modern clean room and comfortable beds with wide sea view, nice and friendly staff, free easy parking, good half board meals, onsen on-site, reasonable room rate, will come back again for sure.

Enjoyed our first ryokan experience. Takeshi-san, who could speak English, helped us a lot during our daily meals, from explaining the dishes to tending to our family needs as we had a baby around. When we arrived at around 5pm, I liked how the dinner was planned such that the beds would be prepared while we were out dining, so they were traditional futons. Great experience w the rest of the staff also despite language barrier.
