This is a fabulous little hostel. I've stayed in many all over Japan and this has been my best so far. Such a warm welcome with lots of great information regarding the local area. Recommendations and maps for sights, restaurants and Onsen. We were a family so split over the mixed and female rooms. All of us thought the capsules were exceptionally clean and comfortable with good bedding. They all had good lighting, plug sockets and a towel and bag for use at the onsen. There was a free onsen next door or other discounted options in the town. Between us we used both and they were great. Peaceful location but in easy walking distance to all the sights and restaurants/bars. Sweet little touches like a thank you card on departure. We loved it here, and in Shuzenji, will definitely be back.

Loved the location and as well the older style house. Very nicely furnished. Awsome to use next doors onsen one time for free and discounts on other onsen. Most beautiful time I visited at mid November when mapelleaves are turning colors.
