The location is good if you want to visit around shuzenji temple. The staff is very kind and speaks english.

Met some lovely people I went to the onsen and on a hike with. Bed was comfy. Appreciated the bench for writing. Generally well-stocked kitchen except no oil.

The staff was fantastic with me, he took time to answer all my questions about Shuzenji, the restaurants, the night activities... And the place was very clean and comfortable, it was my first time in this type of accommodation, and I really appreciated it.

I really liked the common space of the hostel it was really nice and homely. They had really good restaurant recommendations, especially breakfast we went to the one they suggested and it was so good! Location is so good, easy to get around town from the hostel.
