The inn was beautiful, the staff incredibly helpful, and the food was delicious! And the open air bathes (two of them!) were gorgeous. Plus it was super easy to get to - a frequent and short bus ride from the nearby station. Can't recommend enough!

Excellent kaiseki dinner and breakfast. Service was really good too. Once we drove in, they parked our car and unloaded our luggage and took them straight to the room while we checked in. This ryokan has multiple onsen, including two open air ones. I had to try all of them Dinner was authentic local ingredients and delicious - even though we skipped lunch that day, we were stuffed by the end of it. Even though the ryokan has been around for a long time, it is exceedingly clean, and it's clear that from a comfort standpoint they have been consistently upgrading.

The room had a beautiful view into a zen garden. The facility had many bathhouses that one could enjoy, there was a huge variety of food provided so we could try many different authentic Japanese foods. The staff was extremely professional and nice.
