Very responsive, friendly and kind hosts. Umenosuke's 97yo mum is the oldest person to climb Fuji in 2023 and it was really sweet to hear about her story and receive the newspaper clipping about her climb. The accommodation was very cheap - so expectations when booking need to take this into consideration (eg there is no Internet). There was a lot of room, it was more spacious than we expected and the fridge was good. There are only fans (no air con) however we were told that next summer there will be air-conditioning which will improve the stay greatly in the heat. We chose the location for its proximity to Spa Hawaiians Resort. It is 22 minutes by car from central Iwaki (AEON mall, Aquarium, Lalamew etc) and Marine Tower. The location is also extremely close to the expressway which is handy if you're driving.
