The house is wonderful, with large windows to admire the peaceful place in which it is located. You can see auroras from the bed or the sofa. We went in December and there was also a big Christmas tree inside the house that made it magic. Fully equipped and warm. Trust the gps location the host will send to you and do not use Google maps.

The peace and the view on the lake is breath taking. We could see the aurora from our bed!! The apartment has literally everything you might need, from kitchen and cooking supplies to storage space to toiletries.

To make it quick - this is (by far) the best Appartement i ever rented. The House is stacked with modern Interieur (smart TVs, electrical adjustable beds, Playstation, etc.), WE found almost everything we could need (even a fresh toothbrush) and the Hosts are super helpfull in every Case. Normally i Like to Talk about the Things that went wrong or are Not so pleasing for the guests, but this Appartement Just doesnt have any negative aspects to it.

What a great and cozy place to stay! We just loved everything about it! The location: easy to reach by rental car from Ivalo, yet totally surrounded by forest with a stunning lake view through large panoramic windows facing West. The interior: the welcoming atmosphere with christmas/winter decoration, very comfortable beds, the sauna and rain showers, the fully and stylishly equipped kitchen, the exterior with snow shoes and fat bikes for free use, and last but definitely not least: the very helpful and prompt communication with Jarkko & Hannika. We spent nearly a week in freezing winter wonderland with Northern Lights and the most beautiful weather. What a great start of 2024! This place is definitely a 11/10.
