We booked this as a treat towards the end our holiday after exploring the peninsular by car. Firstly the service was incredible, very attentive kind and helpful. The room was a beautiful traditional room with modern twists. The facilities and products in the room were fantastic and high quality. indoor shower, outdoor shower. but a beautiful private onsen with a view which was such a relaxing oasis. the main highlight of the stay was the food which came as part of the cost (dinner and breakfast) - The quality, quantity and experience was just fantastic. for dinner in traditional wear provided we sat and had one of the best culinary experiences in Japan (and that is saying something as Japan is great for food) lobster, wagu beef, red snapper, sashimi, the 7 courses. Breakfast was much the same. The drinks they had there were fantastic (with no inflated prices). Even though at this place you are paying more than a usual stay, we believe the value and quality of the facilities/staff/food/experience you get for it is incredibly good value for money. A must stay for a luxurious stay away.

The quality of dinner and breakfast was good. The futons were comfortable. Room was spacious. Private outdoor onsen which you can ask the staff to increase the temperature of the water.

Unfortunately we don't speak any Japanese, however the hotel employs an English-speaking staff member who was extremely friendly and provided us with exceptional service during Check-In, Check-Out and all meals. The rest of the staff was very friendly as well. The food was delicious and very nicely presented. The Open-Air-Stonebath was an absolute highlight and we used it multiple times during our one-night-visit. It was clean, spacious and the temperature was perfect. The room itself was traditional and beautiful, with an amazing view down on the sea. Upon asking, the hotel provided us with a free shuttle back to the train station which we highly appreciated.
