Location was really good and it was easy to walk to main sights as well as the metro. The staff were very friendly. The hotel felt very safe and the breakfast had a great selection. Room service was excellent.

I had a very pleasant stay at The Marmara Pera. The check-in process was very smooth. My family arrived before me and were warmly welcomed, and they received their rooms quickly, which we really appreciated. The view from the rooms is amazing — even rooms without a direct sea view offer a beautiful panorama of the city. The staff were always smiling, friendly, and helpful, which made the overall experience even better. The location is a major highlight. As soon as you step out of the hotel, you are directly on Istiklal Street, surrounded by lively alleys full of great restaurants and cafés. As for the downsides, the hotel has a classic charm, but this also means that some parts feel a bit outdated, especially the bathrooms, which could use some renovation. Also, if you plan to use public transport, the tram station is a bit far, and the walk back can be tiring due to the uphill climb. Overall, the stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy Istanbul in a central and vibrant area.
