Ugur was very helpful even before we arrived. He arranged an airport pick-up for us which was very slick. He was friendly without being overbearing. He also arranged a dinner cruise and walking tour which was very useful. The loan of a reusable travel card was very convenient. The location of the property was very close to some of the main attractions. The apartments were very clean and well equipped. There is a supermarket and corner shop selling beer close by, as well as many bars and restaurants. The 2 bedroom setup was perfect as I was travelling with my father.

Location, location, location. And, Ugur, our host, hands down the best host. Made everything easy for us, always available, and quick at replying.

Location is superb. Only 10 minutes to the promenade and 3 minutes to Blue mosque. Great public transport links. Got to Galataport in 15 minutes by tram for the ferry to Princess Islands. Balat only 10 minutes by bus after a 15 minute walk to the river bus stop. Plenty of space for us two. No a/c in the bedroom but as our apartment was in the basement with private garden it was never too hot to sleep in June at night. There is a/c in the living room, which is excellent and turned the space into a freezer if we wanted after all day walking 20km around the city. The rainfall shower was powerful and always hot. Nice large hand basin. Plenty of toilet paper. Comfy beds, which were not bouncy castles and just firm enough. Roof top terrace with sea and river views was a great perk. Hardly used by other residents. Front row seat for a huge thunderstorm on our last night. There's a small kitchenette with complimentary tea, kettle, mugs etc. Ugur is a very helpful host. Excellent communication and great English. We would stay again and bring my own pillow.
