We had an amazing 6-day stay at the Grand Hotel de Pera in a family room with a balcony. To be honest, we didn’t expect too much at first because of some negative reviews, but our experience turned out to be excellent from the very beginning. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. We enjoyed the beautiful view from our room. (I highly recommend booking a room with a view of the Golden Horn.) The breakfast selection was a bit repetitive, but everything was fresh and tasty. The hotel’s location is another big advantage: it’s right in the heart of the tourist area, just steps away from Istiklal Street. All in all, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice buffet breakfast, must try mixing tahini and molasses! Great to have a swimming pool and sauna to use after a long day sightseeing. Very friendly staff.

The Pera area is Great. Hotel is 20min with public transport from the grand bazaar. The pool is good. Nice breakfast.

Everything was excellent! The location is perfect, the room was beautiful and very comfortable, and the spa, especially the hammam, was ideal for relaxing without having to leave the hotel. All the staff were extremely polite and professional. A special thank you to Mr. Hassan from the evening shift, always welcoming, attentive and genuinely kind. He truly made our stay even better. Highly recommended!
