I absolutely loved my stay at Cheers Hostel in Istanbul! The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with great tips and recommendations. The atmosphere was warm and social, making it so easy to meet amazing people from all over the world. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better for exploring the city. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Ugur is the best guy, the hostel itself very clean and comfortable. I recommend everyone to stay here.

Stayed at Cheers Hostel for a few nights and it was a perfect intro to Istanbul. The location is unreal — right near the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, so you can walk everywhere and don’t waste money on transport. The vibe is social but not over the top. Easy to meet other travellers, especially up on the rooftop bar, but still chill enough to recharge when you need it. Staff were super friendly and helpful with tips and directions, which made settling in really easy. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and lockers felt secure which is always a big one when you’re carrying your whole life in a backpack. Breakfast being included was a huge win — saved money and got the day started properly. Overall, great value for money in a prime location. If you’re a backpacker wanting a social but relaxed place in the heart of Istanbul, this is a solid choice. Would definitely stay again.
