We spent 8 nights at this hotel as a family of three, and while the building is modest and located in a rather rundown area of Fatih, our experience was absolutely beautiful—thanks mostly to the incredibly warm and helpful hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, always available for anything we needed. Yes, the neighborhood is chaotic and quite economically disadvantaged, but it gave us access to local life, friendly shop owners, and prices much lower than in more touristy areas. If you're looking for an authentic, real Istanbul experience and don't mind the hustle and bustle, this might just be your place. The room was simple but clean, with a private bathroom, and we especially appreciated the communal kitchen and rooftop terrace—a true gem for evening tea with a breeze and panoramic views of Istanbul’s skyline. Perfect base if you're open-minded, flexible, and curious. Highlights: The hosts—kind, generous, and always helpful Terrace views and cool breeze in the evening Communal kitchen made eating and tea breaks easy Local area full of small shops and places to eat with budget-friendly prices Good Wi-Fi and air conditioning

The hotel's personnel was so helpful and hospitable.Upon arrival they let me change the room to a really comfortable one and answered my questions.Please say warm hello and my regard to Karina (cleaning lady) as she was so understandable with all my issues. I would definitely come back to this place.
