Very nice hotel. The room was spacious and we had an amazing view on Mihrimah Sultan and Fatih mosques. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. The hotel is close to the Metro M1A/M1B line and is also at a 10mn walk to the T1 tram station which gives direct access to the old city (takes about 15mn by Tram). Special thanks to Samet Incekara who was very nice to us and always helpful.

We had an amazing experience staying at Akgun Istanbul Hotel during our family trip from Norway. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is unbeatable – just 50 meters from both the bus and metro stations, which made getting around Istanbul super easy. Even the airport connection is smooth, with a direct bus running every hour right to the hotel. Very convenient, especially when traveling with kids! Our room was spotless, tidy, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options that kept us energized throughout the day. One of the highlights was the free access to the Hamam (Turkish bath) – you just need to reserve in advance. It was a wonderful experience and a great way to unwind. We will definitely choose Akgun Istanbul Hotel again whenever we visit Istanbul. Highly recommended for families, couples, or solo travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great service!

Room was good, it did feel slightly dated but not overly, we got a nice high floor and the views were really good. The breakfast was very good, a lot of variety. staff and room service are very receptive and service is good Bed was comfortable and we sleep very well.
