It is a big, big mistake to rent this house, if you intend to explore the Isle of Skye. No matter how attractive sightseeing usually is to you, it will not make sense to leave The View. Don't book this place just to stay overnight; do it only if you're looking for the experience. It will probably cost you an arm and a leg, but at least you know what you're paying for - for living in The View. This is the place to let your soul dangle, die Seele baumeln lassen, as they say in German. However, be aware: when leaving the house, and particularly after checking out, management of the withdrawal symptoms is recommended. Beautiful home in a fantastic location, very well furnished and with amazing hosts. The herbs, oil and coffee/ tea provided made settling in so easy. The view from the main room is spectacular.
