The location on the lake in Iseltwald was sensational. In the morning and evenings one is greeted by the glassy lake and a beautiful outlook onto an old stately home and traditional Swiss Stadels. The really helpful staff made the lunch and breakfast experience enjoyable (with the prices of everything in Switzerland one needs to focus on the positives of dining). It is an easy stroll to the ferry to Interlaken, although staying put and enjoying the location is an easy choice.

The location was amazing. It was quiet and peaceful at that position on the lake which we liked. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful chalet type hotel. Can’t wait to go back.

This place was just amazing! The view from our balcony the best I can imagine in the town, and the whole room really cozy, even if not too big. The bathroom was also recently renovated. The breakfast buffet was also great, and I was so happy to see many vegan options! The stuff lovely, and helpful with guests. Honestly, this was our favourite place in Switzerland, can’t wait to come back here during our next visit.
