Where can I start? Very friendly host, Marisa taking her pride accommodated us, as if her house guests! Chosen very comfortable rooms, cleaned & maintained impeccably by her family members. And amazing food she cooked every night, rustic homemade pasta soups followed by the varieties of tasty mains, - meat and fish prepared simply but all with care & attentions. Her homemade cakes at both breakfast and dinner were delights, - one evening we found out that was Marisa’s birthday, she fed all the guests a feast, a delicate quiche, sea bream and homemade ‘Ferra- Roche’ like chocolate truffles but 1000% yummier! On our departure, she gave us big hugs just like what family friends does, with eagerly handed us big lemons. No wonder many of the guests wish to come back there, since Madam Nicola first time lodged a German artist more than 40 years ago. Grazie, Marisa and all the family for being so hospitable, - we had a wonderful time in Ischia, your lovely island! Ps. I regret, missed taking photos of your wonderful food, - we enjoyed so much missed it.

A nice family hotel and a family approach to guests. Marissa volunteered to be my Italian teacher, expanding my Italian vocabulary from 10 to 20. The room was very clean with a view of the gardens and the sea. The air on the terrace was fragrant with flowers and washed laundry. The breakfasts were rich by Italian standards. The homemade orange marmalade was soft and delicious. The dinners were prepared with love. The best were the sardines from the daily catch and the tiramisu. The evening baths in the thermal pool made our stay perfect. It was a beautiful spring week on the island of Ischia.

We had very comfortable and pleasant stay at Casa Nicola. We felt like home there. The room was nice and we slept so well. The host family was super nice and friendly, food was great and we enjoyed every single day there. It was also very great location to all the places of visit on the island. We will be definitely coming back there. Thank you so much for having us! ❤️
