The grounds are beautiful, a place of tranquility. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve experienced in a boutique size hotel. Service was impeccable. Shuttle service to Forio and Lacco Ameno was good albeit it finished at 9pm which was a little early.

Pros: Excellent service--a special shoutout to Lorenzo in the front desk for his kindness and resourcefulness. We were offered a room upgrade on arrival and the room was well-located and very comfortable, with an outside garden terrace and a private jacuzzi. Great hotel location (in Lacco Ameno, northwest of the island). I loved the ambiance, given the lush greenery in and around the property (honoring its name). The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We did not use the spa facilities, but they looked great, including a thermal pool. Its restaurant, Il Mirto, is vegetarian and top-notch; it has been awarded a Michelin Green star. Fair price, compared to other luxury hotels in the island/region.

Lovely grounds, pool and staff were friendly and efficient and couldn’t have been more helpful. We decided to change rooms and the staff were extremely accommodating until we had the room which suited us.
