Staying here is absolutely amazing - getting keys to the castle and being able to come back after dinner when all the tourists have left the islet. The breakfasts here were fantastic, the best we had during our holiday. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and kind. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when visiting Ischia.

Staying in Albergo il Monastero is an exceptional experience. You arrive from Ischia with the impressive view on the huge massive rock with the castle on top, and once you are up there, you discover stunning terrasses, churches, gardens and even a vineyard. We enjoyed the sunset on the terrasse with a bottle of vine from the local vineyard and it was an unforgetable moment. The staff is amazing and the rooms are good. Breakfast again was fantastic, home made bread, fresh fruits and a choice of cheese, vedgies, sausages, etc. You feel a bit like in paradise!

Our stay at Albergo Il Monastero was exceptional. The hotel embodies a rare honesty in hospitality, deeply rooted in its setting and full of authentic character. There is a quiet confidence to the place nothing feels overworked, everything feels considered. The team were effortlessly warm and attentive, and the restaurant is a destination in its own right. A truly memorable experience, and one not to be missed.
