The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. The hotel location is next to Ipoh mall which is very convenient for shopping and it is close by to the old city center also. The breakfast buffet was pretty standard offerings, would be good if there are more varieties in the cold cuts n salad sections and cooked food choices, like serving more of Ipoh local fares will be nice. The Cantonese restaurant served very good dishes and their smoked duck with lychee was superb!

The hotel is located about 15 minutes from the airport. Taking a cab to places of interest took about 10 to 15 minutes which is pretty fast. The breakfast provided is excellent with a lot of variety. Surprisingly, they even provided supper to the guest after 11pm. After staying in so many hotels worldwide, this is the first hotel that I know which provided supper and I think it is great and should continue. There is a swimming pool on the roof level which overlooks the whole of Ipoh including nearby Cameron Highland. We are also able to control the temperature in the room which is good. Some hotels don't allow and is controlled from central system.
