Very nice looking, charming room, exactly like the pictures only smaller than we hoped. Beatifull second floor in the room. At the end of the hallway there's a terras with purified drinking water facility. Right outside our room was a shared fridge. There were complimentary earplugs because of the noise in the street :-). It's a self checkin hotel with no frontdesk or anything but the owner is always available through Whatsapp and responds fast. Also very friendly. Great location right above the nightmarket and across the street a foodcourt (not the best food but closeby). Right beneath the hotelrooms is a nice restaurant with great food, although expensive compared to the usual in Malaysia. The hotel is located in the centre and you can easily reach most highlights of the city by foot. Beautiful town with a lot to see, mainly architecture, culture, art wich we liked a lot. Nice caves in the area, with by far the most beautiful and very largeTempurung cave. In other reviews people complain about entering through the café, but that's not entirely true. The door to the rooms is a seperate door right next to the door of the café. There is a wall with glass in between. From a little further on the stairs you can look down on the guests in the café but they are not looking up to you.

My first impression of this hotel was somewhat negative at first, as we had to climb a steep staircase to reach the room. However, once we entered the room — wow — I loved the unique layout and design. It was very comfortable for our family of four, with my daughters sleeping in the upper area. Cleanliness was excellent, and what impressed me most was the superb soundproofing. Even though the hotel is very close to the Night Bazaar and there were lots of people below, we could barely hear a thing inside the room. If you come without car, I recommend this place for a short stay.
